Nourish your body with Katherine Waite’s Sustainable Living & Cooking Workshop. In this workshop you’ll learn how easy it is to make some foods from scratch and discover new recipes to inspire you to grow and cook with food in season or from your own garden (even if it’s just a herb garden for now). Food is an important part of our everyday life and our decisions impact lives, the environment and our health. We’ll reflect and encourage each other to be women who live fully, wisely and mindfully when it comes growing, cooking and enjoying food.

Labyrinth
A labyrinth is simply a place to walk and pray. There is nothing mystical about it. It gives you the freedom to walk around while focusing your mind on God – and not worry about getting lost.

A labyrinth contains a single walking path to the center and then back out again. It has many turns but, unlike mazes, does not have dead ends.

In Christian usage, the purpose of the labyrinth is personal and spiritual transformation. One way to pray a labyrinth is to worship and praise God as you walk to the center, then intercede for people and concerns as you walk back to the outside.

We invite you to walk the labyrinth and pray. If you find that it helps you relax and concentrate on God, then great, please use it.

It is important that you feel nourished and sustained on your retreat.
